Insurance and Fees

Stock Health for Mental Balance accepts select insurance plans for clients located in Kansas. Insurance coverage depends on your specific plan, benefits, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and provider network status.
Private pay is also available for clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose plan is out of network. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
No-Show Fee: Late cancellation/no-show fee may apply.
Please note: Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment. Clients are responsible for any copays, deductibles, coinsurance, non-covered services, or outstanding balances.
Uninsured or self-pay clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of care before services are provided.
For out-of-network plans, a superbill may be provided upon request. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your insurance plan.
Fees do not include pharmacy costs, medication costs, lab costs, emergency services, psychological testing, or services provided by outside facilities or providers.

Initial psychiatric evaluation, 60-70 minutes: $250
Extended psychiatric evaluation, 71-90 minutes:$300
Follow-up appointment, 30 minutes: $150
Brief follow-up, 15 minutes: $95 -
Private-pay, uninsured, and self-pay clients may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling or receiving services. This estimate explains the expected cost of mental health appointments based on the services reasonably anticipated at the time the estimate is created.
Prescription medication costs, pharmacy charges, labs, testing, emergency services, outside referrals, and administrative fees are not included unless specifically listed.Item description
